This is the second book I've bought from this author, and I love this one even more! It's downright funny. There were parts I was laughing out loud, and I LOVE that! When an author can capture me into the book and get me to laugh at the scene, she's got me for the duration. Carter and Tanner were just plain fun. Carter is a vet who is in need of having his house fixed--in walks Tanner. The two men (after a embarrassing first meeting) slowly develop a friendship that leads to more. I enjoyed that--they didn't just fall into bed by page 37. The author allowed them to get to know one another, figure each other out, and let the story unfold. There isn't a huge amount of "typical" drama, but I am good with that. The ease of reading, the well written storyline, and the nice pace kept me involved.I enjoyed this sweet, affectionate romance. The author gives her characters awesome personalities yet keeps them realistic--definitely guys you wish you were friends with. Very excited to read more! Aw. Look at that cover.
